Porha is an AI-powered exam preparation platform built for students across Assam and Northeast India. We help aspirants prepare smarter for competitive exams like APSC, SSC, Banking, Railway, UPSC, and more — with personalized content, daily roadmaps, and AI tools that adapt to how you learn.
Why We Built This
People already spend a significant amount of time on their phones. We wanted to create something that could make at least some of that time useful — helping people learn something new without requiring long study sessions.
As short-form content has become a natural part of how people consume information, Porha was created around a simple idea: deliver useful knowledge in short, focused pieces that are easy to read, understand, and remember.
Porha combines short articles with quizzes, flashcards, mock tests, roadmaps, and personalized learning tools so students can spend less time searching for study material and more time actually learning.

Dimpal Das is the founder and developer of Porha. He built Porha around the idea of turning everyday screen time into an opportunity to learn.
With short-form content becoming increasingly popular, the idea was to create a social-media-style learning experience where users can spend less time consuming content while still gaining useful knowledge.
